Cindy Trice is a multi-state licensed relief veterinarian with more than 20 years of experience spanning general practice, emergency, mobile, urgent care, and shelter medicine. She continues to practice as a relief veterinarian, providing flexibility and continuity of care to veterinary teams across the U.S.

An entrepreneur at heart, Cindy founded Relief Rover in 2018, a pioneering community that connects relief veterinarians and technicians with jobs and resources. Following its acquisition by Hound in 2023, she served as Chief Veterinary Officer until mid-2025. Inspired by her personal journey with advanced cervical cancer, she also co-founded KickIt Pajamas, a clothing company creating stylish, comfortable, and functional apparel for women undergoing treatment, recovery, or living with chronic illness.

Beyond her professional work, Cindy is dedicated to leadership and advocacy. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Veterinary Innovation Council, the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), and as a Cervivor Ambassador, elevating patient voices in the fight against cervical cancer.

Cindy holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis, a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from Cornell University, and completed the Stanford LEAD Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship and Leadership.

When she isn’t working, Cindy enjoys cooking, volunteering, traveling, and spending time in Bradenton, FL with her husband and their three beloved dogs. She also has a quirky hobby—writing rap lyrics for hamsters.

Previously, Jacinthe held senior leadership roles, including President of the World Pet Association (WPA), where she championed growth and innovation across the global pet industry, and Senior Director of Marketing Operations at VCA, where she oversaw nationwide marketing initiatives, brand development, and the launch of new services.

Her career also includes impactful marketing leadership positions at VetSource, Intervet Schering-Plough Animal Health, Merial, and Vetoquinol, where she built expertise in product development, brand management, and business growth within both companion and equine markets.A graduate of the Université du Québec à Montréal with a degree in Marketing, Jacinthe blends strategic vision with a strong understanding of the veterinary profession’s evolving needs.
